Alleged robber sought

Troy Police are seeking an Ariton man, who is suspected to have robbed a Beeline convenient store in Troy.

Bryan Bertona, 20, is alleged to have robbed the Beeline at the intersection of U.S. Highway 231 and Sanders Road on Oct. 3. He was not armed at the time of the incident.

Troy Police Capt. Jimmy Ennis said a warrant has been issued for his arrest, and the department seeks the public’s help in his capture.

“We are actively looking for him,” Ennis said.

Bertona is described as a white male, weighing 150 pounds and 5-feet, nine-inches in height. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone who sees a person fitting this description is asked to call 911 immediately to report.

He is wanted on charges of robbery third degree.
