Mr. Robert Jack Shell, age 89, formerly of Grady, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Reverend Perry Green officiating and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Mr. Shell is survived by his son Robert J. Shell, II of Troy; daughters, Margo E. Sitko and husband Walter J. Sitko of Hoover, Sharon Abbott and husband Ira Abbott of New Braunfels, TX; grandchildren, J.R. Peterson of Troy, Erica M. Sitko of Hoover, Kristin Rosan of Columbus, OH, Kevin Abbott of Kerrville, TX; great-grandchildren: Gage Peterson, Cierah Sitko, Stephen Rosan and Erin Rosan.
Mr. Shell was preceded in death by his wife Margaret J. Shell.
Mr. Shell served honorably in the United States Air Force for 22 years.
In-lieu-of flowers memorials may be made to the Orion Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund care of Troy Bank and Trust.
