Jared Kyle Ellis age 9 of Ariton died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Dale Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 4:00 pm from the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church near Ariton with Reverends Shirlie Ellis and Anita Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Ridge Cemetery in Ariton with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge officiating.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. He will also lie-in-state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
He is survived by his mother Tina Ellis and Sam Senn of Ariton, his father Timothy Ellis of Brundidge, his twin little brother Justin Ryan Ellis of Brundidge/Ariton, grandparents John Karo and Shirley McWaters of Brundidge and Annie Inez Ellis of Brundidge, aunts and uncles Amelia and Terry Long, Shelia McWaters, Sharon and Greg Shackelford, Janice and Lamar Knotts, Betty Joyce Ellis, Yolanda Jo and Bill Bundy, Mary and Kenneth Ward and Randall Ellis, several cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Reverend Foster Ellis.
Jared Leaves his brother Justin as the last surviving male child of his generation in the Foster Ellis Family.
Active pallbearers will be Randall Ellis, Kenneth Ward, Adam Carley, Randy Agerton, Dennis Ezell, and Gerald Cook.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Baker, Marshall Spivey, Michael Knotts, Don Ezell, Ben Baker, Jimmy Sanders, and Ronnie McCullough.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Gideons in Jared’s memory.
