Riley announces new business in Troy

Alabama Gov. Bob Riley announced Friday CGI Group Inc. will make a new home in Troy, bringing with it at least 300 jobs overtime.

The global computer company will bring IT-related jobs to the county.

“This is a great day for Pike County and Troy and the state of Alabama,” Riley said.

The company will locate in the old Parklane Shopping Center, now owned by Troy University.

CGI will begin hiring quickly, and jobs will be posted at www.cgi.com by noon today.
