Albert Marion Anderson Jr., 83, passed away in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday, August 12, 2009. He was born on November 18, 1925, in Brundidge, AL to Albert &Myrtle Anderson Sr. Albert proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Albert attended Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas and was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jeanette, daughters Charlotte Wines and husband Mike, Catherine Tucker and husband Jesse, Carmen Hinton and husband Billy, sons, William Anderson and wife Lou, Gary Anderson and wife Karen, and Geoffrey Anderson and wife Sheila, brother, Herbert Anderson and wife Betty, 17 grand children and 10 great-grand children.
Albert is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Myrtle Anderson Sr. and his sister, Florence.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Chapel, in Brundidge, AL with Reverends Jim Powell and Kenneth Baggett officiating. Interment will follow the service at Williams Chapel Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge Directing.
