Mr. William Roscoe Redmon, 51, of Wetumpka, died Friday, July 17, 2009, at his home.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 19, 2009, at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Revs. Perry Green and Dr. Malone Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Lebanon Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
He is survived by his parents Denton and Billie Ann Messick of Troy; a daughter Alisha Campbell of Troy, Grandson Travis Campbell of Troy; granddaughters Aubrey and Janet Campbell of Troy; long time family friend Shirley Barrett; two nieces; a nephew; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Nyles Redmon and a brother Dan Redmon.
Active pallbearers will be Michael Redmon, Nathan Sneed, Charles Nunnelee, John Nunnelee, Patrick Lucas, and Travis Meeks.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Walton Sellers, John Hooks, Lewis Cain, and Leon Adams.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Old Lebanon Cemetery Fund.
