Chester Gene Turner age 69 of Troy died Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, July 17, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Springhill Cemetery, with Dr. Don Hatcher officiating Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 p.m.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Brenda and Dennis Mathews of Goshen, Martha and Randy McLendon of Troy, son and daughter-in-law Mark and Norma Turner of Springhill, grandchildren Leslie and Robert Douglass, Brandi McLendon, Jeremy Mathews, Amy Mathews, Blake Turner, and Lakin Tuner, 8 Great grandchildren, Brothers James and Wilmae Turner, and Joe Turner, sister Glenda and Steve Varga, and a sister-in-law Mary Turner.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Claudie Turner, son Chester Gene Turner Jr., and a brother William Claude Turner.
