Katie Ingram Dunn, 87, a resident of Noble Manor, Troy and formally of the Josie/Enon community died Thursday, July 02, 2009.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2009 at 2:00 pm from the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church with Reverend Averyt Walker Officiating, Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
She was an accomplished seamstress, cook and beautician. In her Spare Time she loved to garden, read, fish, and embroider.
For many years she was a member of the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her Husband of 67 years, William Ellis Dunn, parents Henry and Martha Florence Harden Ingram, brothers Ivan Ingram, Jack Ingram, Edwin Ingram, and Conley Ingram, sisters Lila Coggins Botts, Ruby Armstrong, and Mary Ann Dunn, Parents-In-Law George and Minnie Dunn, brother and Sisters-In-Law Virgil and Roberta Dunn, Sara Dunn Freeman, and Wanda Dunn Reynolds, granddaughters Kimberly and Caryn Garrett, grandson Mark Garrett, granddaughter-in-law Fay Green Garrett , Great-granddaughter Haley Garrett and son-in-law Danny Gibson.
She is survived by four daughters June (Jon) Barker of Montgomery, Sue (Rickey) Culpepper, Tanyard, Nancy (Mike) Harrell , Troy, Helen (Jimmy) King, Ansley, Grandchildren Steven (Heather) Hutto, Fitzpatrick, Kelli (Clint) Montgomery, Tanyard, Leigh Anne (Tommy) Windham, Troy, Michael (Elizabeth) Rose, Mobile, Katie Rose, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Zachary Rose, Montevallo, great Grandchildren Amanda Garrett (Adam) Johnson, Montgomery, Hope Garrett (Charles) Bundy, Troy, Channing and Colby Hutto, Fitzpatrick, Madelyn Montgomery, Tanyard, Sarah and Anna Windham, Troy, and Graham Rose, Mobile, great-great grandson Joseph Mark Johnson, Montgomery, sister Betty (Charles) Arrington, Union Springs, brother Charles (Annette) Ingram, Opelika, sisters-and brothers-in-law Grace Ingram, Troy, Carolyn Ingram, Union Springs, Green and Lorene Dunn, Cantonment, Florida.
Honorary Pallbears will be Butch Austin, Robert Dunn, Steven Channing, Colby Hutto, and Michael Rose.
