South Dale Belles, Eufaula Ozone Rookies advance to championship

The results from the four games not including the host Troy teams include:

Belles

South Dale 10

Eufaula 6

The South Dale Belles scored one run in the first, three in the third and six in the fourth to clinch a spot in the championship game in Troy. South Dale beat Eufaula 10-6 at the Troy Sportsplex.

Savanah and Sierra each scored two runs for South Dale and Regan, Kayliegh, Kaityln, Kaitlyn, Breana and Brooke each scored one run.

Geary Anna and Whitney each scored two runs for Eufaula and Mallori and Chelsea scored one run apiece.

South Dale faces Troy at 6 p.m. in the championship game today with the if necessary game scheduled for 8 p.m.

Ozone Rookies

Eufaula 11

Enterprise A. 10

Eufaula’s Ozone Rookies eliminated the Enterprise Americans in a comeback effort, 11-10 Monday night at the Troy Sportsplex.

Enterprise rode an eight-run second inning to an 8-1 lead, but Eufaula chipped away with five runs in the fourth, two in the fifth and three in the final inning for the win. Enterprise scored one run in each of the third and fifth innings.

Payton Little and Ty Gilmore each had two runs scored for Eufaula and Caleb Bush, Riley Arrington, Dakota Robertson, James Doss, Ivan Gissendaner, Russ Bradshaw and Austin Davis each scored one run.

Kade Grant, A.J. Brown, Frankie Turner, Travis Carr, Chase Spivey, Jaxsen Mosley, Nathan Weinzetl and Killian Soule each scored in the second inning, Spivey scored in the third and John Kelsce scored in the fifth.

Eufaula faces the host Trojans today at 6 p.m. with the if necessary game scheduled for 8 p.m.

Pre-Minor

Eufaula 14

Greenville A. 0

Eufaula’s Pre-Minor team eliminated the Greenville Americans with a 14-0 mercy rule victory Monday afternoon in Troy.

Michael, Kyler and Ed each scored two runs for Eufaula and Drew, Henry, Sellers, Drew, Spencer, Hugh, Jarrod and Kevon each scored one run.

Eufaula plays the Greenville Nationals in an elimination game today at 6 p.m.

Luverne 13

Brantley 4

The Luverne Pre-Minors knocked Brantley from contention with a 13-4 win Monday night.

Brantley, Hoffman, Rushing and Moneyham each scored two runs for Luverne and Hamilton, Jordan, Taylor, Fuar and Alsbrooks each scored once.

Edge Branum, Gregson Layton, Parker Odom and Parker Driggers each scored one run for Brantley.

Luverne faces off with Troy today at 8 p.m.
