Before a huge audience at Bulldog Stadium Friday night, the Pike County High School Class of 2009 officially closed one chapter of their lives.

But, as Salutatorian Ronique Boyd told her classmates Friday, graduation day was really, just the beginning.

“There will be many opportunities and challenges ahead of us as we continue on life’s journey,” Boyd said. “And to succeed, we must take advantage of the opportunities and meet those challenges and never give up.”
