Services for James Milton Brooks, age 85, of Bullock County, who died May 16, 2009 at his home, will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from Macedonia Baptist Church with Dr. Dean Watson and Rev. Trevor Perry officiating.
Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of Gray Funeral Home of Union Springs.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. May 18, 2009 at Gray Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Nell Adams of Brundidge and Linda Murphy of Troy; grandchildren Hayley Murphy and Bo Murphy, both of Troy.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Rotton, Dr. Alan Berlin, Wayne Brooks, Joe Rotton, Marty Rotton and Charlie Brooks. Honorary pallbearers will be Bo Murphy, nephews and great-nephews, Tom Gates, Eddie Surles and the Union Springs Street Dept.
