The Charles Henderson golf team’s season ended Tuesday in the sub-state round of playoff action at Limestone Springs golf course in Oneonta.
Steven Pearlstein shot an 81 and was the closest Trojan to qualifying for state.
“Steven did good today and he could have qualified for state, but his front nine killed him,” CHHS head coach Jonathan Stinson said.
Pearlstein shot 10 over par on the front nine and one under par on the back nine for the 81.
“No matter whether we qualified for state or not, this was the best year we have had in my three here at Charles Henderson,” Stinson said. “This was a great year for us.”
