Trojans, Patriots stay put

After many weeks of shifting and moving in the Class 5A Alabama Sports Writers Association poll, there was no movement in the final baseball poll released today.
The Charles Henderson Trojans remained at No. 8 in the rankings after going 5-1 since the last poll.
The Pike Liberal Arts Patriots did not budge from their perch at No. 3 in the AISA poll following a 1-1 week.
The Trojans swept two-game series from area foe Rehobeth, swept a doubleheader from Opp and beat Walker. The team’s only loss came to 6A Homewood on the road.
Pike lost a tight battle with Glenwood and destroyed Lee Scott to break a six-game, cross-sport losing streak to the Warriors.
