Troy University’s Assistant Athletic Director of Development Wes Allen has been named the new Probate Judge of Pike County.

Allen’s appointment, made by Gov. Bob Riley, was announced around 9:30 a.m.

Allen will step in today to take the place of retired Judge Bill Stone, but no further details are known at this time as to how and when the transition will take place.
