TPD seeking suspect after gas station robbery

The Troy Police are still looking for a suspect who is said to have robbed the Fillin’ Station on South Brundidge Street Saturday.

Around 9 a.m. Saturday, a black male allgedly entered the business armed with a firearm and demanded money from the clerk, said Troy Police Chief Anthony Everage.

The suspect fled the scene on foot in the back of the building.

Police would not comment or release any specifics in the robbery, since the event is still under investigation.

No one was injured at the time.
