Miracle League golf tournament
The Troy University Kinesiology and Health Promotion Department is holding its first ever charity golf tournament to benefit the Troy Miracle League.
The tournament will be March 30 at the Troy Country Club and all proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Miracle League and a developmental scholarship fund for Troy University KHP students.
The tournament will be an 18-hole, four man scramble.
The day will include 6,071 yards of golf for a par of 72 from the longest tees.
Registration will be $65 per person or $260 per foursome. This fee will include 18 holes of golf, a pre-tournament lunch, post-tournament appetizers and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages.
The Troy Miracle League is a non-profit organization that provides disabled children the opportunity to play baseball. The funds raised will be used to build specially designed facilities in Troy to accommodate the needs of disabled children.
Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. and tee time is set for 12:30 p.m.
Additional support will be used for the development of a scholarship fund for Troy University KHP students.
