The Charles Henderson JV Trojans baseball team won its season opener 7-2 Tuesday in Carroll.

Blake Hutchinson got the win on the mound for the Trojans.

Alex White picked up the save and Hutchinson, White, Josh Davenport and Kane Meredith combined to allow four runs on five hits with four strikeouts and four walks.

At the plate, Chase Connell was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. White was 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored. Michael Fox was 2-for-3 with one run scored and Jalen Lawson and Dalton Harris each had one hit and one run scored. Davenport had one hit.
