Shelby to visit Lockheed
U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) will visit employees of Lockheed Martin this week to discuss the year’s congressional agenda.
Shelby will visit the Troy business Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. as part of a county visit, but the general public will not be invited to attend.
Along with the agenda for the 111th Congress, Shelby will discuss issues facing the country and the state.
After his speech, he will open the floor to questions from members of his audience.
“Over the years, these meetings have provided an excellent opportunity for the area residents to listen and voice their opinions on the activities of our government,” Shelby said.
