Services for Thelma Bean Foster, 74, of Ellerslie, Georgia who died January 21, 2009 at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia will be at 1:30 p.m. January 31, 2009 at Rock Elvy Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Franklin officiating.
The body will lie-in-state for one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.
Visitation will be January 30, 2009 from 12 Noon until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Foster was born March 30, 1934 in Pike County.
Her parents were Tom Bean and Alma Jackson. She attended Pike County public schools and retired from Kmart after 20 years and attended Words of Wisdom Christian Center.
Ms. Foster enjoyed working with Meals on Wheels and assisting with the elderly.
