DENTON, Texas — The Troy University women’s basketball team looks to end a four-game losing streak, heading west to face their fourth consecutive Sun Belt Conference Western Division opponent, the University of North Texas on Wednesday night.

Troy (8-11, 3-6 Sun Belt) will not only be battling the Mean Green, but they will also be battling Mother Nature as she wreaks havoc along the central part of the United States. The winter storm has already shut down the North Texas campus on Tuesday as a precautionary measure, while the team is scheduled to fly in Dallas Tuesday night in preparations for the upcoming contest. As of Tuesday morning, the game will go on as scheduled, as there are no delays to, or from DFW.

The Trojans are in the midst of a four-game losing streak, just a week after having a five-game winning streak. They have lost two games by eight points or less, leading for 35 of the 40 minutes of action. During the streak, the Trojans have fallen into a tie for 10th place overall in the conference, just a half-game back of North Texas (7-12, 3-5 Sun Belt) for ninth place
