The Class 2A Barbour County Lady Jaguars were too much for the Lady Bulldogs of Pike County to handle Saturday night. BCHS (17-3) dominated the Lady ‘Dawgs all night en route to a 47-19 victory in Brundidge.
The Lady Bulldogs (3-13) trailed 26-6 at halftime and made the second half a little more competitive, scoring 13 points to the Lady Jags 21, but it was too little too late for PCHS.
Pike County did not give up in the second half and Tierra Hall again led the Lady ‘Dawgs in scoring with seven points. Kim Hamilton also had seven points in the loss. Hamilton added six rebounds and Hall had five rebounds and two steals.
Ashley Flowers scored all four of her points in the game in the fourth quarter.
The Lady Bulldogs host Carroll Tuesday and Luverne Thursday on Senior Night to close out the regular season.
