Mr. James William Register, 49, of Troy, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at the Troy Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Jan. 18) from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Floyd Nobles officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Olive Church of Christ Cemetery, with Dillard Funeral Home directing.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his daughter, Mandy Davis of Troy; a grandchild, Madison Grace Davis; his parents, James and Lucy Register; sisters and a brother-in-law, Cathy Register and Renee and Chad Schoonover; brother and sisters-in-law, Junior and Liz Register and Adam and Teresa Register; his grandmother, Frances Davis; a special friend, Janet Register; special children, Tina and Dewayne Zellers, John and Cora Redmon; special grandchildren Corey Redmon, Chelsey Zellers and Charity and Faith Redmon; and several nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be Adam Register, Junior Register, Jeffrey Henderson, Zedulun Sipper, Donnie Register, Chad Schoonover, Hunter Register and Ethan Register.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dewayne Zellers , Corey Redmon and John Redmon.
Memorials may be made to the Children’s Hospital.
