Funeral Services for Mr. William Damon Lunsford will be held Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Howard  Godsy officiating.  Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Henderson, Pike Co., AL.  Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until funeral time at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Mr. Lunsford, 91, a 30+ year resident of Guntersville, died Thursday, January 8 at Marshall Medical Center North.  He was retired from Dan River Textile Industry and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Guntersville.
He was preceded in death in 2008 by his wife, Ouida Copeland Lunsford, and son, Damon Wayne Lunsford. 
He is survived by two sons and their wives:  William Terry (Trissi) Lunsford of Centre, AL and Timothy Copeland (Glenda) Lunsford of Guntersville (formerly of Acworth, GA); daughter in law: Vera Lunsford of Corpus Christi, TX; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
