Police arrested Marquie Dewayne Rodgers and Michael John Crowder in Troy after they were indicted for drug charges by a grand jury, said Troy Police Chief Anthony Everage.

Crowder, 52, was arrested later that night around 9:30 p.m. on South Brundidge Street.

He was indicted on charges of unlawful manufacturing of a controlled meth first degree, trafficking meth and chemical endangerment of a child.

Everage said the chemical endangerment stems from Crowder allegedly exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are produced or distributed.

Both suspects were transported to the Troy Police Department and later transferred to the Pike County Jail.

Crowder’s bond was set at $103,500 and Rodgers at $50,000.
