Mr. William Malon Crocker, age 94 a resident of Huntsville died Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 12 Noon in the Hebron Baptist Church with the Reverend Donald Ash officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 3, 2009 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
He was born August 4, 1914. He married Miss Willie Beatrice Lambert in 1941. During their full life together they lived in California, Colon in the Republic of Panama, Alabama, England South Carolina, Arizona and North Carolina. During their travels, they visited Israel and Switzerland.
Mr. Lambert is survived by his son William Wynn Crocker of Scottsdale, AZ, Daughter Scottie Crocker of Asheville, NC, grandsons Campbell Crocker and wife Cherise of Scottsdale, AZ, and John Crocker and wife Suzanne of Huntsville, AL, granddaughters Jennifer Parker and husband Robert of Charlotte, NC and Megan Torgerson and husband Bill of Stratford, CT, 12 great-grandchildren, Campbell, Marshall, Anna Garrin and Sophie Reese Crocker; Sarah Joy, Rebekah, Christopher, and Benjamin Crocker; Cory and Emma Parker; Charlotte and Isabel Torgerson. Also survived by, siblings Olean Crocker, Berlin Crocker and Raynelle Kline.
