Rue Botts, ticket chair, said she expects sales to be rather brisk for the opening night concert and recommends that those wishing to get those tickets do so early.

“We should have tickets available for the Saturday concerts on into the next weeks,” she said. “Tickets will be available on site on Wednesday through Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. or by calling 334-735-3125.”

Botts said the 2009 Pike Piddlers Storytelling Festival promises to be one of the best storytelling concerts anywhere in the New Year.

“You don’t want to miss this one,” she said. “It will be an incredible time of storytelling.”
