Mr. Billy Augustus “Gus” Hill age 77 of Troy, died December 20, 2008 at the Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center.
 Funeral services were held Monday, December 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Otis Derrah officiating.  Burial followed  at Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.
Visitation was held Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 at the funeral home.
He is survived by a friend Joyce Prescott of Troy and the Prescott Family, 2 daughters Jennifer (Tommy) Ammons of Skipperville, Cindy (Scott) Tisdale of Mexico Beach, Florida, brother Raymond (Dot) Hill of Lakeland, Fl, sister Lois Mobley of Ozark, 3 grandchildren Jared Wright, Julie McDaniel, and Brittney Miller, and 3 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents B.A. and Willie Mae Hill, a brother Johnson Hill and 2 Nephews Joey and Benny Hill and a brother-in-law Bill Mobley.
