Police seek suspects in armed robbery

Troy Police are still looking for two individuals who allegedly robbed Hardee’s with guns Wednesday night.

Around 10:30 p.m., a report was made that two black male subjects who were armed had left Hardee’s with an undisclosed amount of money, said Troy Police Chief Anthony Everage.

“There was an employee taking out the trash to the trash bin when he was confronted by a black male suspect demanding money,” said Troy Police Spokesman Sgt. Benny Scarbrough. “He also noticed a second armed suspect involved.”

Both suspects were carrying pistols. They entered through the back door of Hardee’s to take money before they fled the scene through the back door of the business.

The two fled in an unknown location.

One suspect is described as approximately 6 feet 1 inch in height, weighing about 210 pounds and dressed in a gray sweatshirt with a black turtleneck shirt.

The other suspect is described at 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 175 pounds and was seen wearing a blue hooded shirt or sweatshirt.
