Thanks for the support

My husband and I would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for all the prayers, cards, phone calls and monetary donations made to our son, Ben, and his family. As may of you know, Ben has had a battle with cancer since June, 2008. Ben was diagnosed with colon cancer in June and has been going through (and continues to do so) chemotherapy. On Oct. 6, Ben had an appointment with his oncologist, Dr. Scott McDaniel at the Montgomery Cancer Center. At this time Ben and Andrea (wife) received the results of his latest PET scan. The results were: NO CANCER CELLS PRESENT. What a miracle he has received from God. I can honestly and truthfully say that Ben has been on multiple prayer chains throughout the Unites States. From the east coast, the southwest, the southern tip of Florida and to the northern part of the United States. God is in control, always has been and always will.

The people of Pike and surrounding counties have been so gracious to Ben and his family. I am scared to mention any names, but I just feel that I must publicly thank some people. To the members of Banks Baptist Church for the benefit that was give for Ben, to the medical staff and employees of Troy Regional Medical Center, to the staff and management of Noble Manor, to Wiley Sanders Trucklines, K&W Plastics, Montgomery Cancer Center, Baptist Hospital East, to the Salem-Troy Baptist Association and all individuals who contributed toward his recovery.

To everyone who spent endless hours working with the yard sales and bakes sales. To our immediate families, we thank you for standing with us though this time an thank you for all that you have done.

Continue to pray for Ben, his family and us as we continue this journey, but somewhat in brighter light. Thank you all. What you have done will never be forgotten, and this world will always be a better place because of people as all of you.

Giving God the glory,

Rick and Ann Stallings
