Mrs. Frances Chancey Hood, age 84 of Troy, Alabama died at her home Sunday, October 12, 2008 with her family by her side.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Troy, with Dr. Luke Lane and Reverend Larry Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00 until 4:00 at the church.
She was preceded in death by: her parents Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Chancey, her husband Ollie Hood, her brothers Robert E. Chancey Jr. and Gaston Chancey, her Sisters Julia Beasley and Lucille McNeil.
She is survived by; her daughter Frances Sandra Hood of Montgomery, son and daughter-in-law Andy and Mary Hood of Pensacola, Fl., and a granddaughter Lara Lee Hood of Auburn, 5 nieces, 1 nephew and several great nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Norris, Sis Young, and the Builders Sunday school Class at First Baptist.
Active pallbearers will be: Rob Chancey, Chance Kelley, Jeffrey Nelson, Jackson Nelson, Ken Kelley and Jason Evans.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Troy or the Light House Hospice of Alabama.
