Paul Duke Shaver , Age 84 of Wilmette, Illinois, died Thursday, September 25, 2008 in Illinois. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 10:00 AM from the Shady Grove Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend David Stewart officiating. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. Survivors include; Wife, Myrna Florance Shaver of Shawnee , Oklahoma, Son, Paul Dale Shaver of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Brother, Ralston Shaver of Atlanta. Mr. Shaver graduated from Boy’s school in Atlanta. Was a Graduate of Georgia Tech and also attended Mississippi State University. Mr. Shaver was a prominent architect in the Chicago area for many years owning his own firm. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a Master Sergeant in Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe. Friends and Family will meet at the Cemetery for the Graveside Tuesday Morning.
