Mr. Grover C. Knotts age 85 of Ebenezer died at the Troy Regional Medical Center on Saturday, September 6, 2008.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Burney Enzor officiating. Burial will Follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Mr. Knotts was preceded in death by; his wife Lillis D. Knotts , his sons Jerry, Gary and Bobby Knotts, parents Cleveland Isiah (CI) and Annie P. Knotts, Sisters Georgia Knotts and Robbie McLeod, Brothers James, Richard D. and Clevonza Knotts.
He is survived by; Sons and Daughters-In-Law Richard (Geraldine) Knotts, Jim (Kelly) Kelly and Steve (Bonnie) Kelly, Grandchildren Richard Knotts, Jr., Donna Byrd, Mellissa Macalintal, Caroline Knotts, Tabitha Gorman, Liane Knotts, Carmen Kelly, Camille Kelly and Garrett Kelly; Great grandchildren Rachel Knotts, Hannah Knotts, Sam Knotts, Lukas Byrd, Tyler Macalintal, Kaitlyn Macalintal, Rachel Macalintal, and Samantha Macalintal; Sisters and Brother-In-Law Minnie Clyde Lassiter, Eunice and Joe Borland and Ann Grammer; Brother and Sister-In-Law Gillis and Betty Knotts, several nieces and nephews.
The Family would like to give special thanks to Mary, whose loving care Meant so much to Dad and us; to Doctors Wood and Harris and the very professional nursing staff at Troy Regional Medical Center, whose loving and tender care meant as much to the family as it did to dad.
Active pallbearers will be Freddy Borland, Donnie Knotts, Jeff Knotts, Jerry L. Knotts, James Howard McLeod and Ken Messick.
Memorial may be made to the Northside Baptist Church.
