George “Junior” Crawley, 76, of Zanesville, formerly of Alabama, died unexpectedly Friday March 28, 2008 in Zanesville, Ohio.

Mr. Crawley was born August 12, 1931 in Coffee County, Alabama, a son of the late George W. and Vera Mae (Tidwell) Crawley.

Surviving are his wife, Martha R. (Swain) Crawley, whom he married August 13, 1992; sons, Donnie (Trudy) Crawley of Zanesville,

Ronnie G. Crawley of Alabama,; step daughter Ruby Jane Cochran of Bowling Green, Florida; sisters, Kathleen Fleming, Lois Blue, Gladys Crawley all of Alabama, three grandsons, Johnny Crawley, Tommy Crawley, Jeffery Crawley; five step-grandchildren, Shawn Lovejoy, Justin Lovejoy and Christopher, Erin and Mathew Cochran, four great-great grandchildren, Alexa, Blake, Trevor and Justin; a nephew, Austin Hudson and niece Margaret Price, both of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his former wife, Dorothy Crawley and a brother Roger Crawley.

Services were Tuesday April 1, 2008 at Vensil-Orr & Chute funeral Home, Dresden, Ohio. Burial was in the Baptist Cemetery in Adamsville, Ohio
