Jack Tom Witherington, age 79, a resident of Troy, AL died Saturday, March 1, 2008.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Minister Gordon Gibbs officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Mr. Witherington is survived by his wife of 58 years Margie Witherington of Troy, Sons, Jack (Dynell) Witherington of Grady,

Randy (Jeaniece) Witherington of Troy and Kevin (Cathy) Witherington of Troy,

Daughters, Diana Witherington Ezelle of Prattville, Kathy Witherington Simmons of Troy, Brother Rex Witherington of Smith’s Station, Sister Helen (Sam) Thompkins of Pine Level, 13 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, March 3, 2008 from 6 pm until 8 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital, the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
