Mrs. Sallie M. Lee passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Troy Health and Rehab.
She was 94 years old.
Mrs. Lee was a life long resident of Pike County and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. There will be a one hour lie-in-state prior to the service at the church.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2008 from Bethel Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Reverend Bo Weed officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Lee and oldest son, Jack Lee, also her father, Joe Outlaw, mother, Sallie Dorrill Outlaw, and brothers, Ned Outlaw, Joe Tom Outlaw, and Denzil Outlaw.
She is survived by a brother/cousin Rex Dorrill and wife Vivian Dorrill, two daughters, Nellie Jo Kilgore, Troy, Janice Senn, Brundidge, two sons, and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Brenda Lee, Brundidge, James and Linda Lee, Dothan, daughter-in-law, Mary Faye Lee, Brundidge, and several nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Lighthouse Hospice or Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
