Bireda &#8220Nancy” Siler

Bireda &#8220Nancy” Siler was born to the late Rose Lee Siler Stokes on August 10, 1946. At an early age she joined Holly Spring Missionary Baptist Church. She made her transition on September 4, 2007 at Baptist Hospital South, Montgomery.

She is preceded in death by her four brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memories nine children, Lucille Taylor of Goshen, Robert and Carolyn Pryor, Jr. of Troy, Annie and Willie McMillian of Goshen, Annie M. Adams of Montgomery, L.C. Maddox of Troy, C.L. and Tyiesha Siler of Troy, M.C. Siler of Brent, Johnny C. and Terrin Siler of Troy and Teresa Ann Siler of Troy;

four sisters, Elizabeth Stackhouse and Margaret Henderson of Opp, Mary Florence and L.J. Walker of Luverne and Mary Helen and Nathaniel Siler of Troy; three aunts, Eva Stoudermire of Opp, Verbie Siler of Troy and Annie Pearl Siler of Opp; two uncles, Willie C. Lawrence of Opp and Douglas Stoudermire of Opp; twenty five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Patience Louise Tarter Galloway

Patience Louise Tarter Galloway, 71, of Uniontown, Alabama, died, Thursday, September 6, 2007 after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer’s disease. Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge, Alabama on Saturday, September 8, 2007 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Graveside services will be held at Williams Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Brundidge, Alabama on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 11:30 AM with Reverend Jim Powell officiating. Mrs. Galloway was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Wesley Tarter and Louise Loudon Tarter. Survivors include, husband of 52 years, William Mitchell Galloway of Uniontown, Alabama; two sons and daughters-in-law, William Wesley and Melanie H. Galloway of Tallahassee, Florida and Patrick Loudon and Patty C. Galloway of Montgomery Alabama; four grandchildren, William Spencer Galloway of Tallahassee, Florida, Weslyn Elizabeth Galloway of Auburn, Alabama, Mitchell Loudon Galloway of Montgomery, Alabama, and Hope Mariah Galloway of Montgomery, Alabama; one sister, Winona “Mickey” Franchini of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
