Travis Lockwood Rhodes, 17 of Hope Hull, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, from 5 until 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Thursday Aug. 9, 2007, at 7 p.m. with Neal Singleton officiating.

Travis is survived by his mother and step-father, Annette and Jamie Kearns, Elizabeth City, N.C.; father, Lee Rhodes, Hope Hull; brother, Aaron Rhodes; maternal grandparents, Doris and Cecil Hassell; paternal grandmother, Frances Goodman; uncles, Craig (Amy) Hassell, Elizabeth City, Cliff Hassell, Camden, Jerry Rhodes and Kevin Rhodes; aunt, Ruby Thornton; and his friend, Christie Noble.
