Esley &#8220Simp” Walker

Mr. Esley &uot;Simp&uot; Walker age 90 of Luverne died Saturday, August 4, 2007 in Luverne.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 6, 2007, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Frank Lowery and the Rev. David Richburg officiating.

Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held at the Funeral home from 1 until 2 p.m. on Monday.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years Sarah Belle Tate Walker of Elba; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Joel Moore of Opp and Martha and Fox Hughes of Glenwood; grandchildren, Paula and Waylon Dunn, Tammy and Kevin Killingsworth and Michael and Amanda Hughes; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Addie and Emma Killingsworth, Bryan Dunn, Gus and Jake Hughes. He also leaves behind many special nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Michael Hughes, Waylon Dunn, Kevin Killingsworth, Brent Walker, Bill Walker and Bobby Walker.

Boyd Berry and Walter Sanders will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Lighthouse Hospice, 413 B. South Brundidge St., Troy, AL 36081

Joseph Eddins Sr.

Joseph Eddins Sr., born July 10, 1924, in Troy, Ala., passed away Friday, Aug. 3, in Silver Spring, Md., at the age of 83.

Eddins, formerly of Fredericksburg, Texas, is survived by his wife, Reba Sue Eddins; daughter Sheryl Sue Eddins of Kerrville and Fredericksburg, Texas; son Joseph Eddins Jr.

and his wife, Mary Frances, of Annapolis, Md.; and granddaughter, Mary Stone Eddins of Reierstown, Md.

A memorial service for Mr. Eddins will be held Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City, Texas.

Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of one's choice.

Mary A. (Shaw) Sienicki

Mary A. (Shaw) Sienicki, 83, of Wilmington, Del., passed away on July 19, 2007.

Mrs. Sienicki was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was employed with the Department of Corrections of the State of Delaware before retiring.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, in 2004.

She is survived by her children, Deborah A. Schiffer, and her husband, Michael, of Coronado, Calif., and Robert E. Sienicki and his wife, Myrna, of Los Angeles, Calif; grandchildren, Michael Schiffer Jr., Caroline Schiffer, Michael Sienicki and A. J. Aurit; sister in-law, Frances Baker of Oneonta, N.Y., and extended family from the Troy Alabama area.

The funeral service will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
