William Ellis Dunn

William Ellis Dunn, age 85 of the Enon/Josie community, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, in Montgomery.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 5, 2007, at the Ramah Cemetery at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Averyt Walker officiating. Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Friends will meet at the cemetery prior to the service.

Mr. Dunn is survived by a wife of 67 years, Katie Ingram Dunn; daughters and sons-in-law, June and John Barker of Montgomery, Sue and Ricky Culpepper of Josie, Nancy and Mike Harrell of Troy, and  Helen and Jimmy King of Ansley; grandsons, Steven and Heather Hutto, Michael and Elizabeth Rose and Zachary Rose; granddaughters, Kelli and Clint Montgomery, Leigh Anne and Tommy Windham, and and Katie Rose; great-grandchildren, Amanda Garrett, Hope Garrett, Channing and Colby Hutto, Sarah and Anna Windham and Graham Rose; brother, Green Dunn.

Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by his parents, George and Minnie Dunn; sisters, Sarah Freeman and Wanda Reynolds; brother, Virgil Dunn; granddaughters,  Kimberly Carol Garrett and Caryn Hope Garrett; grandson, Mark Garrett; granddaughter-in-law, Fay Green Garrett; great-granddaughter, Haley Garrett; and son-in-law, Danny Gibson.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Robert Dunn, Robert Barbaree, Butch Austin, Thelton Harden, Luke Green, Charles Ingram, Bill Hixon and Henry Grider.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ramah Cemetery Fund, c/o Averyt Walker, 2104 CR 6631 Banks, AL 36005.
