Lucille S. Harris

Graveside funeral services for Lucille S. Harris, 76, of Luverne, who died Monday, April 9, 2007, at Luverne Health and Rehab, will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Green Hills Chapel Mausoleum in Troy with the Rev. Steve Rascoe officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing.

The family will receive friends at the Mausoleum beginning at 2 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Ima Turner Shoemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Willie R. Harris of Luverne; son, Russell Neal Harris (Dena) of Ft. Smith, Ark.; daughter, Lucianne H., Wiggins of Troy; five sisters, Dorotha Baker of Little Rock, Ark., Koleta Rawlings of Conway, Ark., Linda Lawrence of Marion, Ark., Janey Long of St. Charles, Mo., and Frances Harrison of Knoxville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Lauren Wiggins and Hunter Wiggins.

C. Hilton Andrews

Private family services for C. Hilton Andrews, 85, who died Saturday, April 7, at his residence in Eufaula, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy with Dr. Ken Bush officiating.

Burial was under the direction of Chapman Funeral Home of Eufaula.

Mr. Andrews was born April 18, 1921, in Brantley. He was the son of the late John Frank and Mamie Mills Andress.

Mr. Andrews was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He moved to Eufaula in 1997 after residing in Troy for 54 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Eufaula and Southside Baptist Church in Troy, where he served as a deacon. Mr. Andrews owned and operated Hilton's Roller Rink in Troy for 35 years. He also was a member of American Legion #70 in Troy.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy L. Andrews.

Survivors include three sons, John D. Andrews of Eufaula, Jeff Andrews of Montgomery and William H. (Karen) Andrews of Eufaula; one daughter, Renee' (Dan) Ellis of Eufaula; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
