Barbara Mildred Partin

Funeral services for Barbara Mildred Partin, 85, formerly of Troy, who died Thursday, March 15, 2007, in Richmond, Ky., were at 11 a.m. Monday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Tom Woodfin and the Rev. Gerald Partin officiating.

Burial followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing.

Visitation was from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. H. Gillis Partin, and her parents, William and Mildred Roberts of Auburn, N.Y.

She is survived by a son, Gerald Partin and his wife, Linda; two daughters, Karen Ackerman and her husband, Tony, and Brenda Farrant; five grandchildren, Jim Farrant, Kelly Goddard, Lori Browne, David Partin and Tim Pritchett; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dr. Ken Roberts of Seattle, Wa., and Wes Roberts of Cicero, N.Y.

Serving as pallbearers were Tony Ackerman, Jim Farrant, Lavaughn Adkinson, the Rev. Bob Jones, Fred Watkins and Louie Wilson.
