Evelyn Turner Rhodes

Funeral services for Evelyn Turner Rhodes, 85, of Troy, who died at Troy Health and Rehabilitation in Troy, Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, will be at 11 a.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. W.O. Sanders officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rhodes; son, Royce Rhodes; half brother, Billy Turner; and two grandchildren, Michael Rayborn and Tracey Lester.

She is survived by three daughters, Jeanette Horn of Luverne, Debbie (Larry) Lester of Brantley and Judie Rayborn of Troy; son, Kenneth (Debbie) Rhodes; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Waverly (Tinie) Stephens; and daughter-in-law, Sue Rhodes.

The family wants to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, Mary Alice Culpepper, Alicia Wicker and Teressa Latham.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
