Bernice Richards &#8220Sister Baby” Brockett

Funeral services for Bernice Richards &#8220Sister Baby” Brockett, 65, who died on Feb. 7, 2007, in Troy, will be at 2 p.m. today at Lily Baptist Church with the Rev. Likely officiating.

Burial will be in Union Springs Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.

Visitation was from noon until 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brockett was born April 4, 1942, in Troy to Angland and Willie Mae Richards.

She received her bachelor's degree from Long Island University in Brooklyn, N.Y., and a master's degree from Central Michigan University.

Mrs. Brockett was a retired nurse and a longtime member of Lily Baptist Church in Troy. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Henry Wiley Fowler

Funeral services for Henry Wiley Fowler, 93, of Elba, who died in Elba, Friday, Feb.

9, 2007, will be at 2 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service today at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by six brothers, four sisters and his parents.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Dee Thornton of Brantley; several nieces and nephews; and his Lady and his Man.
