William Keith Austin

Funeral services for William Keith Austin, 42, of Banks, who died at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Oaks and the Rev. Lavon Singleton officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Austin was preceded in death by his father, William Monroe Austin.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Hanna Austin of Troy; mother, Myrtle Austin of Banks; brother, Kent Austin of Banks; sister, Jennifer (Dallas) Redmon of Banks; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Austin, Danielle Austin, Megan Redmon, William Dallas Redmon, Stephanie Redmon and Gracie Austin; aunts and uncles, Louise Culpepper, Sybil (Farris) Singelton, Dennis (Lannette) Singelton, Brady Austin and Mary Fuller.

The pallbearers are Thomas Clark, Bryant Kreis, Tommy Kilpatrick, Mickey Sheppard, Kendall Austin, Rickey Austin, Issac McGowin, and Curtis McGowin.

The family request that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.

Rex Mauldin

Funeral services for Rex Mauldin, 70, of Brundidge, who died at Dale Medical Center in Ozark, Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, will be at 2 p.m. today at St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenny Horn and the Rev. Calvin Faircloth officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge

There will be a one-hour viewing prior to the service at the church.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gloria Mauldin of Brundidge; daughter and son-in-law, Crystie and Tony Faulkner of Enterprise; granddaughter, Taylor Faulkner of Enterprise; grandson, Landon Faulkner of Enterprise; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Harold Nicholson of Brundidge; brother and sister-in-law, Morris and Faye Mauldin of Brundidge; sister-in-law, Ann Holland of Jack; brother-in-law, Doug Sanders of Troy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Andy McLeod, Ricky Ellis, Earl Johnston, Dock Carroll, Dave Grissette and Ed Mitchell.
