Kenneth Harper Weed
Memorial services for Kenneth Harper Weed, 69, a native of Goshen and a longtime resident of Mobile, who died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at a local hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
He was a 1956 graduate of Troy High School and was as active member of Christ United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie Ola Johnson Weed and William Howard Weed, and a sister, Mildred Louise Weed Shaver.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Amesbury Weed; children, Scarlett Weed (J Brent) Stokes, The Woodlands, Texas, Kenneth (Kimberly) H. Weed Jr. of Daphne, Ellen Weed Vaught of Mobile and Troy Thomas Weed of Troy; grandchildren, Morgan Stokes, Brandon Stokes, Kenneth Harper Weed III, Mitchell Weed, Savannah Gay Weed and Chance Vaught; siblings, James Ralph Weed of Birmingham, Gerald and Juanita Weed of Prattville, and Janice Weed and Jene Owens of Daphne; sister-in-law, Kathy and Kenny Campbell; mother-in-law, Cora Gray Donaldson; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ United Methodist Church-Lifegate Ministries.
Funeral arrangements are through Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin St., Mobile.
