Mary Elizabeth &uot;Bebe&uot; Simmons Stricklin
Graveside services for Mary Elizabeth &uot;Bebe&uot; Simmons Stricklin, 87, who died on Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, in Troy, were at 3 p.m. Sunday at Union Springs Perpetual Care Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Rich officiating and Gray Funeral Home directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett L. Stricklin; son, Emmett Curtis Sticklin; great-grandson, Hunter Russell Starling; and sister, Laura Simmons Hall.
Mrs. Stricklin is survived by her daughter, Linda S. (Leon) Dykes of Troy; grandchildren, Elizabeth W. (David) Starling, Angela W. (Anthony) Beck, Grant (Robin) Stricklin, Bethany (Matt) Merritt, and Beck Stricklin; great-grandchildren, Courtney and Chandler Beck, Anna and Mary Margaret Starling, Keithen Breaux, Regan and Kayden Stricklin, and Elizabeth and Lauren Merritt. She also is survived by nephews and nieces, Milton (Sally) Hall, James T. (Barbara) Hall, Gail (Hulen) Barr, Amelia (Oliver W.) Holmes, and their families.
Pallbearers were David Starling, Anthony Beck, Jason Hall, Grant Stricklin, Beck Stricklin, Len Barr, Carson Hall, John Holmes and Mark Holmes.

Funeral services for Gerald Kenneth &uot;Jerry&uot; Haws, 54, of Troy, who died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with the Rev. Shirlie Ellis officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church Cemetery in Brundidge.
Visitation was held prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra K. Haws, and his parents, Gerald and Arretta Haws.
Haws is survived by his children, Derrick Haws of Brundidge, Drew Haws of Panama City, Fla., and Casey Haws of Brundidge; step-children, Sandy Keel of Troy and Wiley Brantley of Banks; grandchildren, Daniel and Derrick Haws of Panama City, Fla.; four step-grandchildren, Amber Brantley, Chelsey Brantley, Kayla Lee and Mikey Brantley; a brother, James M. (Melissa) Haws of Luverne; a sister, Sharon Johnston of Brantley.
