George Renwick

George Hall Renwick, our beloved father and grandfather has passed away at 73 years of age. His life was filled with love of his family, his enthusiastic attitude towards life and distinguished sense of humor.

George battled with an obstructive lung disease and suffered a long courageous fight. He was an avid traveler, technical director of the Cardiac Lab at Grady Memorial for 23 years, was with the World Health Organization and was respected by many and widely loved.

In loving memory of George Hall Renwick, born in Edinburgh, Scotland, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006. He is survived by his ex-wife, Pamela Welstand; sister, Madge Thomson of Edinburgh; brother, Albert Renwick of Dacula, Ga.; son, Neill Geoffrey Renwick of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Belinda G. Post and husband David Post of Troy; six grandchildren, Bayard Tarpley of Dothan, Joshua Post, Dustin Post, Lauren Post and Zoe' Post, all of Troy, and Elizabeth Renwick of Balloch, Cumbernauld, Scotland.

A memorial get together will be held at 3410 Waters Edge Trail, Roswell, Ga., on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. For more information, call Neill Renwick at (678) 343-5564.
