Delaurice Crowell
Funeral services for Delaurice Crowell, 85, of Troy, who died in Montgomery Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Marvin Jackson and the Rev. W.O. Sanders officiating.
Burial followed at Providence Cemetery in Glenwood.
Visitation was Friday at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Potter and Harris Crowell. Mrs. Crowell was retired from the Pike Teacher Credit Union, and both of her husbands were retired from the military.
She is survived by a sister, Pearl Adis of Troy; a sister-in-law, Kathyrn Henderson of Glenwood; a caregiver and niece, Penni Hobbs of Montgomery; local nieces, Candice Allen of Selma, Joyce Manning of Troy, Sue Hoover of Goshen, Ethel Smith of Goshen and Gwen Qualls of Troy; and several other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Rex Rhodes, Grady Rhodes, Ricky McLendon, Shawn Richburg, Tommy Deveridge and Pat Leverett.
