Opal LeVert Dalley

Services for Opal LeVert Dalley, 68, of Minter, who died Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, in Selma, were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pineview Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry Smith and Les Lee officiating.

Burial was in Pineland Cemetery with Rockco Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her husband, Chester J. Dalley of Minter; son, Gregory Thomas Dalley and his wife, Marilyn, of Troy; sisters, Betty LeVert Colburn of Brent and Dot LeVert Brown of Centreville; brothers, Robert Edward LeVert of Conyers, Ga., and George Howard LeVert of Anniston; grandchildren, Amanda Dalley Bailey and her husband, Chris, and Gregory Thomas Dalley, Jr.

Emery Hayward Trawick

Services for Emery Hayward Trawick, 80, of Josie, who died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center, will be at 10 a.m. today at Loflin Baptist Church in Josie with the Revs. Earl Oakes and Roger Waldrop officiating.

There will be a viewing at the church from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. prior to the service.

Burial will be in the church cemetery Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation was Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Trawick was born Sept. 9, 1926, in Pike County. He was a retired heavy equipment operator in road construction. Mr. and Mrs. Trawick celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 1.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Morgan Trawick and Minnie Lou Dykes Trawick.

Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Trawick of Banks; three sons and daughters-in-law, Leslie and Barbara Trawick of Opp, Larry and Janie Trawick of Banks and Lenny and Theresa Trawick of Brundidge; grandchildren, Terry and Mesha Trawick of Panama City, Fla., Morgan and James Davis, Brian and Tiffany Trawick, all of Josie, Larry Trawick Jr., Chris Trawick, Jeanie Fuller, and Howard and Leeann Dickey, all of Troy, Amanda Trawick of Canton, Ga., and Zachary Trawick of Brundidge; great-grandchildren, Tiffany Trawick and Kaitlin Trawick, both of Josie, Courtney Trawick, Mitchell Trawick, Abby Trawick Christian, Emma Grace Dickey, Brady Fuller and Micha Fuller, all of Troy; and a sister, Elizabeth Huggins of Ft. Walton, Fla.

Pallbearers will be Terry Trawick, Larry Trawick Jr., Chris Trawick, Brian Trawick, Zachary Trawick and Howard Dickey Jr.

There will be military honors by Charlie's Angels.

Memorial should be made to Loflin Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
