&uot;We made an incredible comeback scoring five runs in the sixth,&uot; said Troy Nationals Coach Allen Blackmon, &uot;but it just wasn't enough.&uot;

Blackmon said that despite the tough loss, he was proud of the team and the way they played throughout the tournament.

He thanked fans and parents for all the support throughout the year, as well as Jake Smith, David Flemming and Jim Wallace who drove to the park to pitch to the team so they could have batting practice from left-handed pitchers.

&uot;That helped us tremendously,&uot; said Blackmon.

&uot;Our boys really hit tonight.&uot;

The tournament loss ended the season for the Troy Nationals.

Their final record was 12-2.
